Dr Macauley MBBS FRACP is a Consultant Physician in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rheumatology. He held appointments at two teaching Hospitals in Sydney; St George Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (Westmead Children’s Hospital). The latter as a Paediatric Rheumatologist and the Director of the Institute of Sports Medicine and Sports Science.
Dr Macauley has worked within the life insurance industry for more than 15 years, with companies including CommInsure, OnePath, AMP, AIA and Zurich. He was an Approved Medical Specialist in the NSW Workers’ Compensation and Motor Accident Authority Schemes as an Assessor of Permanent Impairment and was a member of their Dispute Resolution Panels. He also performed medicolegal assessments in Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
For more than 20 years, Geoff has developed and implemented software programs for use in local Government, health, retail and education. He developed the human resources EziSuite program which incorporates communications, workflow and financial aspects and is used by over 300 clients on a daily basis.
Geoff has carefully directed the development and testing of the ANCIS software. The development followed the original brief and utilised an intimate knowledge of the insurance industry to produce a comprehensive, dynamic approach to claims management and analysis.
Peter has 15 years’ experience in life insurance claims and risk management at the highest levels, as well as having consulted to medical indemnity and general insurers. He has implemented several initiatives in life insurance that are now the norm including the first model of claims segmented by risk. He has also moved two life insurers out of loss recognition.
Peter has led the operational risk function across Superannuation projects and insurance risk in the Trustee environment. He has an MBA in Strategic Management and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Fellow of the ANZIIF
Narelle worked in the Life Insurance industry for 35 years holding various senior positions including Technical Claims Manager, Senior Compliance Manager, Product Manager and Chief Underwriter. In her most recent life insurance roles, Narelle was responsible for litigated claims, complaint matters and provide claim strategies in respect of complex claims.
Narelle consults to ANCIS reviewing complex claim and providing claims strategies as well as working on innovations for ANCIS .
Brian has been a senior executive in commercial and personal insurance markets with broad research and sales campaign planning experience and has achieved success in the development of market driven profitable personal and commercial insurance products
He has consulted to IAG and Employers Mutual as well as running coaching program for senior executives. He is a past Director of the NRMA and past Chairman of the St George Leagues and former CEO of the St George Dragons Football Club.
Maria has an extensive background in Human Resources and 7 years as a Specialist Claims Analyst.
She is responsible for auditing claims data entry, analytics and reporting, managing timeline profiling of complex and long-term claims, identifying high risk claims and performing Intel. Maria also provides support to the Executive team with reporting, initiatives and projects.
Ric is a consultant in AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism). Ric’s work includes training and capacity building, working with International Monetary Fund, World Bank, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Bangladesh Central Bank, Royal Oman Police and others.
Prior to this, Ric held various Australian based and overseas positions including Anti-Money Laundering Adviser (Law Enforcement), AML/CFT Mentor – Mekong Region and Eastern Caribbean, GPML, UNODC, Deputy Head of Australian FIU (Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre – AUSTRAC) and various positions with Australian Customs Service.
Geoff has been IT Program Director to EziSuite for 20 years. With his team, Geoff has developed multiple software products. Geoff’s specialty is to visualise and deliver the complex database ideas which have been incorporated into the ANCIS software.
Claudio is the Managing Director and founder of SystemCraft, founded in 1989. Prior to this, Claudio worked in the Commonwealth Bureau of Statistics. He holds degrees in Economics and Statistics and has a post graduate degree in Demography. Worked in various Commonwealth departments, including ABS, Community Services, Office of Local Government and last position as IT Manager for Bureau of Transport Economics.
